1. HAGGIS - The national dish of Scotland












Haggis is a traditional Scottish dish made from sheep’s heart, liver, and lungs. It is minced and mixed with oats, onions, and spices, then traditionally encased in the animal’s stomach and cooked.( But nowadays its cooked in synthetic sausage casing)


As strange as it may sound, the end result is a scrumptious masterpiece.


Most commonly served with 'neeps' ( Scottish for mashed turnip) and 'tatties' ( Scottish for mashed potatoes), along with a dram of Scottish whisky to give that finishing touch OR fried up to be served along with a breakfast or a brunch.
